Oosh Me?i'm really glad i took the job at dempsey =)
there i found people who actually live out their lives doing things that they want. not to mention i've also tried out a couple of stuff i've always wanted to do, like ride a bike down the highway and reaching home at 2, 3am every morning. not to mention, the bar manager owes me a lesson on bartending.
in such places, the rj and straight As profile is actually quite annoying - i felt discriminated against haha but nahh luckily most of my new colleagues are nice. i guess i'm getting by with a passable level of street cred and a overwhelming amount of hardworkingness and niceness. otherwise i'll be completely hated.
my current boss drives a white lambo (i was stunned when i saw it parked in the carpark) and is somewhat elitist (therefore nice to me). i've met a guy who dropped out of jc cause he knew he'd hate it, and had then worked while studying at ngee ann. there's this 23 year old married with a kid and holds 2 jobs to support his family. the bar manager borrows 10 bucks from unsuspecting victims every now and then (to finance his excessive drinking is our hunch). the 22 year old bartender is out to annoy me every night (rawr, haha) and has a car and a bike. the restaurant supervisor seriously annoys me sometimes. ohhh, and almost everybody smokes.
ahh well. probably going out for drinks after work today, which is like at 1am so i'm wondering where will be open. i guess they know.
